Cookie policy

This policy explains what this website saves on your phone or computer when you visit. The short answer is very little. Last updated October 2026.

What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website can save on your phone or computer. Websites use them, and similar tools such as your browser’s “local storage”, to remember things between pages or visits. Some are needed for a website to work. Others are used for analytics, advertising or tracking, and a website needs your consent before it uses those.

What this website uses

  • No advertising or tracking cookies. The site has no analytics tools, no advertising, and no embedded maps, videos or social media widgets, so no other company sets cookies when you visit.
  • One item that remembers the cookie notice. When you press “OK” on the cookie notice, the site saves one small item in your browser’s local storage. It is named jf-cookie-notice and its value is “closed”. Its only job is to stop the notice appearing on every page. It holds no personal information, it isn’t sent to me or to anyone else, and it stays until you clear it.
  • The quote form. The quote form doesn’t use cookies. The website privacy notice explains what happens to the details you send.

Your choices

Because this site uses nothing that needs your consent, there is nothing to switch on or off. The one item described above is needed only to remember that you’ve seen the notice.

If that ever changes, for example if visitor statistics are added, this policy will be updated first and you’ll be asked for your consent before anything is saved.

How to clear it

You can delete or block cookies and website data in your browser’s settings. If you clear the data for this website, the cookie notice will appear again the next time you visit. Everything else works the same.
