Website privacy notice
This notice explains what information this website collects and what happens to it. It covers the website only. Last updated October 2026.
Who we are
This website is owned and operated by APCO.F Limited (company number 16886978). Its principal, Joanne Fernandes, is a Consultant Property Solicitor. For this website, APCO.F Limited is responsible for deciding how visitor information is used. You can contact me on 01895 375246 or at joanne.fernandes@taylor-rose.co.uk.
What information the site collects
- No tracking cookies. The site has no analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and it sets no cookies of that kind. It saves one small item in your browser to remember that you’ve closed the cookie notice. The cookie policy explains this.
- The quote form. If you choose to use the quote form, it collects the details you type in: your name, email address and mobile number, the name of anyone you are buying or selling with if you give it, and information about your move, such as the property address, price, whether you need a mortgage, your stamp duty position, whether you are a UK resident for stamp duty purposes, and the name of anyone who referred you. Nothing is collected unless you press “Send”. If you call or email me instead, that happens through your own phone or email app.
- Server logs. The site is hosted by Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested.
- Nothing from third parties. Fonts and images are served from this site itself, and there are no embedded maps, videos or social media widgets, so no other company is contacted when you visit.
Images on this site
Some illustrations on this site were created with AI image tools. They don’t show real properties, clients, offices or transactions, and each one is labelled.
How the information is used, and why
Server logs are used only to keep the site secure and running properly. The lawful basis for this is legitimate interests: it’s necessary to run a safe website, and it has very little impact on your privacy.
Quote form answers are used only to reply to you and prepare your quote. The lawful basis is that you’ve asked me to take steps before possibly entering into a contract with you (preparing a quote).
How it’s stored and how long it’s kept
Netlify stores its server logs securely and keeps them for a limited period under its own retention policy. Netlify is based in the United States and processes this data under its own data protection terms. Netlify’s data processing terms include the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. I don’t sell visitor information, and I only share it as described in this notice.
Quote form answers are received by Netlify, which hosts the site, and emailed to me. I delete them from Netlify within 30 days. If you go on to instruct me, your details become part of the matter file held by the solicitors’ firm acting for you.
If you instruct me
If you go on to instruct me, the solicitors’ firm acting for you looks after your information as part of opening and running your matter, and will give you its own privacy notice.
Your data protection rights
Under data protection law, you have rights including:
- the right to access the personal information held about you
- the right to ask for information you think is inaccurate or incomplete to be corrected
- the right to ask for your personal information to be erased, in certain circumstances
- the right to ask for the use of your information to be restricted, in certain circumstances
- the right to object to the use of your information, in certain circumstances
- the right to ask for information you gave to be transferred to another organisation, in certain circumstances
You don’t have to pay to exercise your rights. If you make a request, I have one month to respond. To make a request, contact me on 01895 375246 or at joanne.fernandes@taylor-rose.co.uk.
